Today marks the 9th anniversary of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City as it is exactly today that the game appeared on the shelves for the Playstation 2 console in North America back in 2002. With its unqiue vibe and colorful landscape it's a game in the series that none of us will ever forget.

The game was released just a year after Grand Theft Auto 3 had been released. With it's unique vibe it showed that a Grand Theft Auto game didn't have to be as grimmy as Grand Theft Auto 3, which was, all in all, a fairly dark game.
